Kinondo Kwetu occupies a 6.5 hectare plot on Galu Beach, offering a secluded stretch of white sand along the Indian Ocean. The property features five cottages and two villas, all decorated with Swahili handicrafts and antiques, with ocean views from private verandas. Three-course lunches and dinners are served in various locations, including beachside under the stars, with fresh seafood sourced locally. Guests at Kinondo Kwetu can choose between two pools—one large and deep, the other shaded—or swim in the warm ocean waters, which average 28°C–32°C. Activities include horse riding on the beach, yoga retreats, and access to the nearby Kaya Kinondo Sacred Forest. The nearest airstrip, Ukunda/Diani, is a 15-minute drive away.
