Each cottage features a fully equipped kitchen, central heating and air conditioning, free WiFi, and a seating area with a TV. Guests can walk directly to the beach for shell hunting, fishing, or surfing, and the property provides barbecue grills and picnic areas. Several of Hatteras Island's best restaurants and a major grocery store are within walking distance. The cottages are 6 miles from the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and 4 miles from Pamlico Sound, known for kiteboarding and sunsets. A continental breakfast is available each morning at Avon Cottages.
