a romantic getaway

upgraded room clean space lovely breakfast

the receptionist provided an upgraded room for my husband and i i found this to be very thoughtful. the room was spacious and beautifully clean and had a warm atmosphere. breakfast was a pleasure to have there.

pillows were too firm for my personal liking.

the location offered great convenience with proximity to southsea restaurants. access to the promenade was easy for short walks to both gunwharf quays and southsea pier. free road parking with a permit was available.

small room cheap furniture

The room I stayed in felt small and overheated. The furniture looked cheap. The bed was too small. it wasn't very comfortable. I also found the hotel split across three different locations. One location held gated parking. Another was the main hotel away from the parking. The third one sat in a separate building on another street. I had to drag my luggage around to each of them.

amazing stay!

friendly staff clean room

i found the staff really friendly and helpful, a big plus! the room was very clean and nicely furnished. it was also just a short walk to the town centre and its shops, so exploring was super easy.

The hotel provides gated parking near reception. Three narrow off-street spaces are available. unjoined properties preserve the neighbourhood's character, giving a unique charm. this setup creates a distinct and nice experience.

the room had tea, coffee, and water provided, all very convenient. a tv with freeview was mounted on the wall and i enjoyed the decent shower. the room also features a wardrobe to hang clothes and store items.

mixed experience at separate locations

poor signage no hot water

the staff were friendly, i'll give them that.

finding the reception and then my room was a real scavenger hunt as they are in different buildings, i wasn't well sign posted. also, there was no shower, just a bath with a shower head that barely worked and no hot water. i really wanted a shower, not a bath.

the staff was friendly. the room provided was clean and well proportioned. i appreciated having everything i needed.

It was difficult to find the location, reception, and my room. they are in different locations. the bathroom lacked a shower. it only had a bath with a shower head that didn't work well. there was no hot water. It was only cold.
