The hotel features a ping pong table I enjoyed. The courtyard had comfortable seating and provided a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were helpful in giving directions to local restaurants. There is convenient parking available under the building, a great perk.
The gym's treadmill required maintenance. It was a little bumpy.

i found the location quite convenient. the proximity to venice beach was a definite plus. i appreciated the ease of parking with free options available on the surrounding streets, this saved on additional costs. the outdoor area was nicely arranged! we used the ping pong table. also the fire place gave a unique touch.
the pillows were not comfortable. i found them too lumpy and firm, this affected my sleep quality. it was a minor inconvenience. but still notable.

the staff showed kindness and respect. the hotel is in a convenient location, close to venice beach but not directly on it. i really liked having so many dining options within walking distance, including the boardwalk, venice pier, and canals.
the price we paid did not represent good value. i stayed one night and the sofa bed provided for my son was dreadful.

the air conditioning UNIT was quite LOUD! it made it difficult to sleep soundly. street parking was difficult to find. i was charged for water bottles in the room, i thought were complimentary.

the pool was very nice and so was the jacuzzi. the location had street parking on the side streets. there were a lot of great things nearby, like the city and the beach. we could easily get around.
check out felt strict at 11am. extending check out to 1pm costs 40usd, i think that is absurd. they didn't have a late check in day rate, finishing at 6pm, which would have been ideal.

Due to fire safety regulations, extra beds cannot be added in rooms with two beds. However, an upgrade to a suite with a king-size bed is available for an additional $20 plus taxes per night. This suite comes with a sofa bed and allows for the addition of a rollaway bed.
