adequate, but soundproofing needed improvements

poor soundproofing slow drain

the sea view from my room was acceptable.

the shower drain was slow, it wasn't great. soundproofing was very bad. i could hear neighbors very clearly through the walls, even from my bed. this made relaxing difficult and i worried about disturbing others.

really good beachfront stay

beachfront location fresh berries convenient travelling

the location was fantastic, right on the beachfront.. i could easily walk to shops and the harbour. breakfast offered a selection of cereals, fresh berries, and a hot english breakfast. i appreciated the hotel's proximity to the train station, only a five-minute walk.

i did notice the single room was a bit cosy, but it still had everything i needed.

a nice seaside stay

quality hardware clean sheets dining room access

the recently renovated shower room featured nice quality hardware (i liked the rainfall shower head). crisp clean sheets were provided, which i always appreciate. i was informed that i could buy food from the town anytime and eat it at the hotel. use the dining room. richard helped carry the suitcases up to the room, very helpful.

breakfast was only available for one hour, so it became a bit hectic with many guests.

Excellent Seafront Stay

hypoallergenic bedding accessible bar seafront location

I appreciated the hypoallergenic bedding. It made my sleep much better. The dining room and honesty bar were always accessible. I could grab a drink or a snack whenever I wanted.. the location near the train station and on the seafront was also great. It made exploring the area easy.

The walls are very thin. I could clearly hear conversations and noise from neighboring rooms.

a perfect beachfront escape

prime location sea view cooked meal

I really liked that the hotel offered a prime location facing the esplanade. I found the sea view from the triple bed in my room very nice! the cleanliness was really good, everything super clean and well kept. i also thought the breakfast was a treat, especially the cooked meal options available.

The walls seemed a little thin, i could hear noises from neighboring rooms. It's something to be aware of.
