Bayliss Hall enjoys a brilliant location, with the beach and harbour easily within reach. Guests frequently mention the comfortable beds and convenient self check-in process. The inclusion of breakfast in the little basement dining area is often appreciated, although a few guests have noted that the breakfast facilities can feel a bit cramped when busy. The breakfast room in the dingy basement was entirely inadequate though. Small bits of garden furniture were present, and there was peeling plaster. The breakfast was provided by a cafe who sent someone to cook it, but the quality was poor.

perfect locationbreakfast optionsuncomfortable roomtiny shower
The guest house had a perfect location for both the beach and the harbor, I appreciated that. Our room had views over the beach. It was amazing. We also really enjoyed the breakfast at Quayside. They offered a fantastic range of breakfast options.
We didn't feel like our room was comfortable to be honest. The mattress sagged on one side, so it reminded me of one would fall out of bed. The shower room felt too tiny. Simple things like the kettle didn't fit under the tap. It felt a bit bed-sit like.

The breakfast setup was nice. I enjoyed visiting the partner restaurant each morning. The location suited my needs because of its closeness to the town center. It was simple to walk to the shops.
