Bow Street Runner - A traditional pub with rooms near Hove seafront, continental breakfast in-room, and free WiFi
Just 100 metres from the seafront, the Bow Street Runner is a 2-star traditional pub with rooms in central Hove. Each room features a flat-screen TV/DVD, tea and coffee facilities, a fridge, and a private shower room with a private entrance. A light continental breakfast is served in the room each morning at the Bow Street Runner. The pub serves no food, plays no loud music, and has no games machines, focusing solely on a traditional bar atmosphere. Guests have plenty of choice of restaurants, shops, and nightlife on Western Road, 30 metres away. The location is a 15-minute walk from The Lanes in central Brighton, and approximately 2 km from Brighton Pier, The Royal Pavilion, and the Theatre Royal. On-street parking is available with permits purchased from the Bow Street Runner. The accommodation is above the pub, with two flights of stairs, and guests receive keys for independent access. Free WiFi is provided throughout.
Pros
Friendly and helpful hosts, including landlady Sue.
Quiet rooms despite being above a traditional pub.
Good location within walking distance to seafront, The Lanes, and Brighton attractions.
Continental breakfast provided in-room with fresh pastries, fruit, cereals, and drinks.
Cons
Rooms are compact and may feel small for some guests.
The accommodation is accessed via two flights of stairs, which may be challenging for those with mobility issues.
