I really enjoyed the free daily shuttle to 7/11. This was a great convenience! the team made easter sunday special with games and an egg hunt for the kids. it was appreciated that they went the extra mile. the gardens were well maintained and clean!
The hotel is older, so a little updating is needed. This did not take away from my time there, though i noticed it.

My beautiful ocean view king room included fresh towels daily. I was also given clean cups unless specifically requested. a tree shrew was inside the room on the first night due to holes in the window screens. the television worked well!

The location is quiet. This was perfect for the first part of my trip to thailand, even though it's away from practically everything. the hotel cascades down a hill and ends on the beach with the pools. There were no sun-bed wars here! i loved the coral bar and reef cafe.

the private beach was decent, i guess. (i spent most of my time elsewhere, though).
the room felt old and not properly cleaned. the water from the tap was dirty sometimes. it made me rethink my choice to stay here

faulty air conditioningslow restaurant service
i was a bit disappointed . the air conditioning in my beautiful ocean view king wasn't working properly, so the room was often too warm for comfort. also, the restaurant service was quite slow. sometimes it took a very long time to get our food, even when the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, frustrating.
