small room , questionable cleaning

the location is good , close to transport.
the room i got was quite small and not very clean , especially in the corners. the bathroom was so cramped that i practically kissed the shelf every time i leaned to use the tap. i almost seemed like i was falling into the middle, as the bed was just two single mattresses pushed together.

the staff was amazing and provided water upon my late arrival (due to train delays). i found a welcome note with complimentary macarons and soft drinks in my room. breakfast at hug next door had great value at €10 each.
the bathroom felt dated and could use a thorough cleaning. the rooms also lacked proper soundproofing. i could hear building works happening next door to the hotel .
