Solid stay with minor hiccups

great location friendly staff clean room e-bike rental

the location was excellent. they have e-bikes for rent right in the lobby, i did enjoy riding along the promenade. the staff was very helpful and friendly. the room was clean as new, a real plus.

the partial sea view from the room on the eighth floor were reduced to a few small squares. i could see only a sliver of the open sea. this feels slightly deceptive for a hotel of this standard.

my king room was spacious and had blackout curtains ensuring a good night's sleep. the bathroom include a rainfall shower and quality toiletries. tissues, water and teas were restocked daily.

mixed experience

the location across from the beach was acceptable. it made accessing the promenade des anglais easy.

i found the pool facilities to be quite disappointing (especially with so many people using it). the facilities seemed outdated, considering the price i paid per night. it did not meet the expectations of a true 5-star hotel.

the location proved suitable as a base for exploring the area.

the restaurant service did not meet expectations for this hotel. i experienced a disorganized breakfast setup with no staff offering assistance and i needed to request tea after beginning my meal. this is not the standard i anticipate from a hotel of this class.

the room was spacious and the bed proved really comfortable.

The breakfast room needs major improvement. It felt cramped and uninviting during peak hours, though the food itself was acceptable. the layout was confusing, and there wasn't enough staff to manage the crowds. i expected better from a hotel of this supposed caliber.

i booked a king room. my room had a large terrace. i had a beautiful view of the sea. there were modern facilities like the room and bathroom.

the room felt very outdated to me. the rug had several stains. it did not feel very high end.
