the room was spacious. it had a nice hammock on the balcony. the restaurant was surrounded by palm trees. it created a lovely atmosphere to relax in.
the music from the beach club was loud. it continued past midnight and made sleeping difficult. the balcony door did not close properly. it added to the noise problem. the water outlet was also not working well.

The hotel featured a beachfront dining area. it included a relaxing lounge area. The setting was lovely! the staff showed attentiveness around the pool. they also were very responsive on the beach.
The balcony door was not closing well. this let in more noise than i preferred. That was a minor issue.

solid stay with a couple of quirks

i liked the access to the beach. the dorm had its own bathroom with two toilets and showers (a nice touch, really). i found the activities fun, especially the yoga and mixology classes.
the music at the jungle terrace was too loud. it shook the room until late.

the location offers easy access to the beach. it is situated on the quieter south end (that's a plus for me). la gloria is a short walk away and offers shops and restaurants.

the hostel features a garden with a pool and palm trees. a kitchen is available for guest use (i did not use it). wifi access extends to the beach club next door.
