Truly Wonderful Stay

convenient location free minibar quirky decor attentive staff

I loved the proximity to the Botanic Gardens. I easily walked there. The free minibar was a very welcome perk. It offered a range of drinks. The quirky decor created an interesting atmosphere. It felt unique. The staff were attentive and helpful. They responded quickly to my needs.

I noticed some wear on the furniture. This detracted slightly from the otherwise excellent presentation.

The location is superb. The Opera House is a short walk. The Art Gallery is close by. The staff are friendly. They are always helpful. Breakfast and the social drink hour were good client moves.

I noticed some wear in the room and it did not feel quite 5-star. The plumbing in the shower dripped all night. The shower head was floppy, and the temperature was hard to adjust. It was either very hot or very cold.

stained sofa wrecked carpet

the room i was assigned had some definite shortcomings. the sofa was visibly stained.. threads were also coming loose. i found the state of the carpet unacceptable, especially given the price point. these conditions certainly detracted from the overall quality of the stay.

charmed by the industrial chic

spacious room loft style bedroom friendly staff

the room was very spacious! i liked the loft style bedroom. the bathroom included a luxurious ensuite. the staff were always friendly. and helpful. there were convenient options for both dining and entertainment both in the hotel and nearby.

The signage for the hotel needs some work. you really don't see the hotel sign until you're almost walking in. this made it tricky to find initially.

The staff were friendly and addressed me by name. A candy station near the lifts had a playful touch, and I indulged a little. The hotel sits atop various restaurants, yet quietness filled the rooms, so restful.

I could not adjust the room temperature well, an issue . I prefered warmer temperature.

Reception center was so accommodating and helpful when I needed guidance. Staff addressed me by name, and that created a personal feeling. The team provided support and ensured a comforting stay, they were awesome.

The room featured day beds near the window, so relaxing. I could lay there and bask in the sun while I read. The decor was trendy and added to the room a pleasant vibe.
