the room was well-equipped with tea and coffee making facilities. i also had a sea view from my room. the hotel offers complimentary toiletries!
the dining service was slow on one occasion, a minor inconvenience.

convenient location hot food polite waitress
The location was very convenient to many local spots. I could walk to the beach easily. The food was nice and hot each day, and the service at both breakfast and dinner was great. The waitress was friendly and polite at breakfast.
The front entrance has six steps, which may be difficult for some guests.

friendly staff good food lovely room good shower
I found the staff very friendly and the food was good. My room was also lovely and the housekeeper was friendly. I thought the refurbishment looked good and the shower was good. The hotel had amazing character and the staff. The hotel manager was amazing.
I did notice that the hotel is a little rough in places.

The lift provided convenient access to upper floors who prefer not to use the stairs. Entertainment was provided each evening, with a pleasant way to unwind after a day of activities, as well as a nice social atmosphere.

The hotel offers a good choice of food on their menu. The waiters were pleasant and a real credit to the company. The bar staff had a great rapport with the residents and served drinks efficiently.

mixed feelings about my stay
rude staff poor organisation
I found the staff to be quite unfriendly. It was rare to get a smile. the waitress practically threw my sister's porridge on the table one morning. That was very unpleasant. we never had teaspoons and had to refill the sugar ourselves at each meal. It felt disorganized.

the location was lovely , and the staff provided a good service.
the room decor was awful , i saw patchy grey paint on the walls. brown stains looked on the wall , and wallpaper was peeling. the ceiling was also in a poor state , which i found quite off-putting.

lovely sea view room
sash windows efficient staff good shower large windows
the reception staff were cute and efficient. my room on the first floor had two large sash windows overlooking the sea. i found a good shower in the bath with a shower curtain and lots of teabags.
the corridor had a slight damp smell, it wasn't very strong though.
