Underwhelming stay. Needed improvements

mildew smelldated furniture

The room smelled strongly of mildew, I had to keep the wardrobes closed. the furniture looked dated. The dark colors. The lack of privacy on the terrace was also a problem! Our terrace was completely open to our neighbours, it was not what I expected.

The hotel featured several pools, each well kept and clean. I liked the variety of options in the main buffet restaurant. The elegant room included a balcony with a nice sea view, exactly what I wanted for a calm holiday. Marina at the Payot Bar was professional. She suggested places in the resort and was very pleasant. The resort is designed with many gardens. All waters and vegetation provide a safe refuge for local birds. The staff are friendly and were beyond helpful. The location is remote which makes it more appropriate for people looking for a calm stay. I liked the service at the bar. The cocktail list had some creative options.
