The food was plentiful and delicious.
The indoor pool was overrun by children, mostly unsupervised. Children ran about the spa, turning showers on. It was noisy, I found this frustrating.

My room included a nice balcony. It offered a decent view of the surroundings. The buffet featured a wide assortment of food items each night. There was also plenty of seating available near the main pool.

The buffet includes many options, from fresh salads to hot entrees. Desserts are plentiful with both local and international sweets. I noticed themed dinners occurred twice .

The hotel provides immediate access to the beach. A marina is nearby, offering boat tours and water activities. I found several shops and a supermarket within a short walk of the premises.

The food was varied and REALLY tasty. I especially liked the Poncha lesson and the Madeira folklore group. The animators and service staff were friendly and full of positive energy. They REALLY enhanced my vacation.
My mountain view room was cold because it lacked sunshine. The heating did not work, but I got a freestanding heater. The bathroom needs updating because it was damp. The sink and toilet leaked TOO.
