Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Grey Mullet Guest House boasts an incredible location in the historic heart of St Ives, steps away from the town, beach, and bay, with some even commenting on the beautiful building itself being photographed by tourists. Rooms are generally comfortable and some have noted them being fairly large, and the provision of tea/coffee making facilities with biscuits is a welcome touch. However, a few guests have mentioned experiencing some noise due to the building's age and proximity to the front door. Despite this, the guest house provides a convenient base for exploring the area and its restaurants.

adequate stay with some drawbacks

convenient locationthin wallsbathroom door
the location proved convenient (especially for accessing nearby restaurants).
The room was smaller than expected. the noise was a significant issue. The walls seemed thin, and i could hear a lot of activity both inside and outside the building. the bathroom door also did not close properly, inconvenient.

My room included tea and coffee facilities with biscuit provisions. The building is beautiful tourists were photographing it! The room was fairly large. The location is excellent. It is right in the center of everything.
The room was quite small. The price felt a bit high considering what I've experienced elsewhere.

The host was helpful and very kind. The proprietors were most cute. They offered us lots of information on local restaurants and activities. The host provided enough resources like teas whenever I needed them.
Location

The hotel has a perfect location just a stride away from the town and beach. Excellent restaurants and bars are about 5-10 minutes walk away. The accommodation is in the town center, 10 meters from the promenade.
Facilities

The room was clean. It felt comfortable and designed in a traditional style. The house has its years, it has wooden flooring, but it certainly does have its charm. There is all you need to prepare tea or coffee.
