The hotel's location is directly on the beach offering immediate access. I found the rooftop terrace provided panoramic views and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were helpful with directions. The reserved parking spot near the entrance was convenient.
The room had a slight musty odor that was noticeable upon arrival.

There are several restaurants within a short walking distance of the hotel. Casa 12, located two blocks away, provides good dinner options. Mao's Kitchen is a good option for lunch. I noticed many choices.

The daytime receptionist was very friendly. The staff provided assistance with directions and local information. Joel and Noel were particularly accommodating .

Location is prime, but that's where the positives end
mildew odor poor housekeeping
The hotel's location right on the beach cannot be beat, really.
The room reeked upon entry. It had a strong mildew odor, not helped by the tiny window I couldn't open properly. The lack of housekeeping meant no fresh towels unless you asked, and even then, they didn't take the old ones away. It was easily the worst hotel I ever stayed in. I am pretty sure the wifi signal did not reach my room.

Dreamy Beach Getaway

The location was ideal, right on the beach. I found a good outdoor area on the ground floor with a fire table. The rooftop terrace offered amazing views. I especially appreciated the staff who were super nice and helpful with parking (a real bonus in that area).
The walls are a bit thin, so soundproofing could be better.

There are a few pubs and restaurants just two blocks away. Casa12 offers a very enjoyable dinner. Mao's Kitchen is perfect for lunch and is also nearby.

Our room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. Beach towels are readily supplied, convenient. The room offered everything I needed for a relaxing stay.

The hotel offered parking for $20 a night (a fair price considering the alternatives). Reserving parking ahead of time is recommended. The roof terrace provides tables to sit and enjoy takeout meals.

dirty corners rude clerk
location it were fine, near the beach.
The room felt cramped, hardly room to move around in there. the bathroom were a disaster zone. Cracked tiles and dirty corners all over the place, so i was praying for the best when showering. also, the reception clerk really didn't care about anything i say.

The location was excellent. It is almost directly on the beach. I appreciated the easy access to Venice Beach attractions. The rooftop terrace provided amazing views of the sea. It was a real highlight of the stay.
The walls seemed quite thin. I could hear some noise from other rooms.
