The Riviera Guesthouse enjoys a great location, near the town and within easy walking distance to the Abbey. Many guests appreciate the sea views from spacious, well-equipped rooms and find the breakfast to be amazing, with lots of choices. The option to pay £3 for parking just around the corner is very convenient. Some guests have noted that the attic room has an extremely low beam on one side of the double bed.

overcooked eggs weak wi-fi signal
the 'sea view' from my 'beautiful double room sea view' was more of a 'partial glimpse between buildings'. also , the breakfast was rather underwhelming ,the eggs were overcooked. the wi-fi signal barely reached my room .

charming sea view stay

great storage comfortable bed
i found the hosts helped with parking immediately upon arrival. the room had great storage and a supremely comfortable bed. perfect pillows. i enjoyed a delicious breakfast where they accommodated requests for alterations.
i noticed upon check-in a request for a room with a walk-in shower was changed. the staff mentioned their departure for a football game and another's illness. the check-in felt rushed, and i felt at fault for not confirming our arrival time.

Really good B&B Experience

lovely breakfast friendly atmosphere easy walk
The breakfast offered many choices and tasted lovely (especially the freshly cooked items). I appreciated the friendly, family-run atmosphere. The location was close to restaurants and provided an easy walk to attractions. Parking was convenient with the provided parking vouchers for on-street parking.
The room allocated differed slightly from the photos online, and the bathroom seemed basic.
Rooms
9/10
The room had all expected facilities and a mini-fridge, very useful for longer stays. It was clean, with the option to choose if you want it serviced daily. The room was cosy with a wonderful sea view from the bay window.
