great location and friendly staff

welcome notefriendly stafffree coffeebright lighting
i found a personalized welcome note with a gift upon arrival. the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. the dining area had complimentary cakes, biscuits, and machine coffee available all day. i liked the location, as it was in the middle of the shopping center and a short walk to the port area.
the bright-white lighting in the rooms felt unpleasant, in my opinion. softer and warmer tones of light would create a more inviting atmosphere (at least for me). this small change could improve the overall comfort of the rooms.
Rooms
9/10
my standard double room had a functional design. there was a bathtub along with storage space. i thought the free wifi performed well, reaching speeds of three digits in mbps.
Location
10/10
the hotel is in a central location. both the tgv station and the port are within a 10-minute walk (which was convenient). a tram stop is also right in front of the hotel.
Dining
8/10
the continental breakfast included warm options like sausages and eggs. i found free water, coffee, and hot chocolate available throughout the day. this made it easier as i explored the city.

the staff were helpful! i needed some directions, and they provided a very detailed map. the location is very central.
The curtains had some dusty marks on them. i also noticed some marks that looked to be from previous insects. the room key card needed to be reactivated every day. It was a bit inconvenient.

i found the location really great. it was close to the places i wanted to visit. the staff were friendly! theo was especially helpful. he gave excellent recommendations for local restaurants. the handwritten welcome note added a personal touch!
