"The room had a balcony and we could open the doors slightly to let air in but you couldn't go out on the balcony due to safety catch on doors not allowing it but that didn't bother us, we understood that it was designed to keep people safe."

surprisingly lovely stay!

I found the reception staff so helpful and lovely. the barman was a legend! even housekeeping staff were lovely. I found them quite helpful too. restaurant staff were great.

the heating was constantly on and unbearable! it was difficult to sleep, even with a fan and the window open. i did switch off the radiator, but it didn't seem to make much difference!

The lift is available for easy access to all floors, and this is helpful with mobility issues or heavy luggage. it runs smoothly and looks like it receives regular maintenance. I felt very secure. i found it simple to use!

Breakfast includes good range with many choices. the dining area is quite spacious and the staff are always attentive. i especially appreciated the fresh fruit selection. Everything seemed fresh and regularly refilled.

the hotel is a short walk to the beach and arcades. it's also approximately 15 minutes walk to the shops! the location was perfect though the parking was expensive.

check in was quick. the staff was helpful. the shower had hot water and good pressure. there were plenty of tea and milk supplies in the room.

the elevator looked somewhat rickety and OLD.

the hotel is close to the seafront , which is a significant benefit for beach access and scenic views. It provides easy opportunities for seaside walks and enjoying the coastal atmosphere , all very close.

The hotel's location is convenient, offering easy access to the gardens (I especially liked that). The available parking spaces directly in front of the hotel are quite useful. My room had a very good shower, it was spacious and clean. The staff members were always friendly and ready to assist with any questions.

The lift was out of service , so I had to use the stairs, but I understand such things happen.

sea view tea options

my room was clean. i had a good view of the sea from my window, even though it wouldn't stay open, i still saw much. i found lots of tea options including decaf which was great. we loved that there were plenty of towels available.

the window was a little difficult to keep open.

The room offered a wonderful sea view from the window. It included tea and coffee making facilities. The shower provided ample warm water. Clean towels were also available.

The hotel lacked an operational lift, which required using the stairs.
