The room smelled strongly of dampness and the bathroom was full of black mold I found this unacceptable. The bedside tables had unattached glass tops that seemed like a potential hazard. Also there was no cold water available in the bathroom sink only hot water.

The location was good and quiet, which I appreciated.

My room was smaller than I expected. The bedside sockets were NOT standard UK 13AMP sockets, a real issue. I needed one for medical equipment, requiring the porter to supply an extension lead. That light bulb also needed replacement, a safety concern. Parking bays felt difficult to maneuver.
