Wonderful Stay with Really good Service
really good service sleep mask great storage great location
The room included nice little touches, such as a sleep mask. I found lots of storage in my room, a definite plus. The location is also great. It's a short walk to the Turner Building.
I knew beforehand that there was no breakfast, but this was far from ideal.

The location provides a sea view from rooms. This makes it a beautiful experience. Local amenities are nearby, including a great cafe, very useful. Town and entertainment options are also within a five-minute walk.
Facilities

The hotel features lovely decor throughout, giving a stylish feel. A garden area provides a place for relaxation. The rooms are renovated to a high standard, something I noticed. A downstairs bar is forthcoming.
Service

Staff members are friendly and helpful. They provided oat milk packs in the room. I found the owner great upon check-in. This set a positive tone. The manager was warm, friendly, chatty, and very helpful. I appreciated this.
Dining

I was informed that the restaurant is due for completion shortly, something I look forward to. Although breakfast service was unavailable, cafes are nearby. I would like breakfast options in the future.

a gem by the sea
refurbished rooms sea front
the new owners have put so much care into the refurbished rooms. the location is amazing directly on the sea front. the shower pressure was very good even for an older building.
the room was very cold, despite the heating being on for hours. i found it quite uncomfortable. the room could use some double glazing.

the hotel offers a garden area. i found this space an addition. it seemed lovely to relax and unwind.

the room had thoughtful touches such as both oat milk and cows milk on the tea tray. the bed and pillows were comfortable, and i slept well. there was plenty of storage in the room.

i look forward to my next visit once the restaurant is open. i anticipate the dining experience will complement the hotel's other offerings.

the staff extended a fabulous welcome. they gave a guided tour of the work and advised on the hotel's more recent history. the staff were very friendly and helpful from arrival.

smooth check-in process faulty tv aerial
the check-in process went smoothly.
the television aerial was faulty. i could not watch tv during my downtime. this was unacceptable for the price i paid.

sea view refurbished rooms missing towels room service
the location was great, right on the sea front with AMAZING sea views from the room. lots of care and attention clearly went into the refurbished rooms.
on arrival, i had to ask for sufficient hand towels and shower gel. the coffee was unavailable TOO. our room was not serviced during our nights count stay.
