The Southcliff Hotel boasts spacious rooms, some offering balconies with magnificent sea views overlooking The Channel; these rooms feature comfortable beds and a large en-suite bathroom with both bath and shower. Its location is amazing, especially being close to amenities, shops, and a short stroll from Lees Cliff Hall. While the hotel is undergoing renovations, and some guests have noted signs of this, many appreciate its quirky, Victorian charm.

The receptionist was lovely and helpful.
The room decor was horrific. The furniture seemed to have been found down the tip. The bed was very comfy though.

the room was really cold (i think the heating wasn't working properly). the bed was quite narrow, made sleeping difficult. also, the bathroom wasn't heated, so it felt damp and uncomfortable after a shower.

great location food options nice views feeble shower squeaky bed uncomfortable bed
The hotel has a very good location. Many options for food are available nearby. I found the views very nice. My room featured a bathroom with a huge bathtub (perfect for relaxation). Water pressure was also very good.
The shower was a bit feeble. It was slightly annoying to operate. One of the beds was squeaky. It was also uncomfortable.
