I appreciated the prompt attention from the maids each morning. Our gold level upgrade gave us airport limo transfers, a welcome treat after seeing the long taxi queue. We enjoyed access to the San Sebastian sun terrace and its complimentary drinks. The included dinner had a huge selection of food, it was amazing.

The lights during the evening entertainment could be dimmed. The stage area was too bright.

The hotel's location is close to beaches and shops, convenient.

The main pool was in very poor condition. It requires repair. The floor around the pool was dangerously slippery, and I witnessed multiple near misses. I did not consider this to be a true 5-star experience (in my opinion it is at most 3 stars).

I loved the direct beach promenade entry. The sea view room had a comfortable bed and a large balcony. It included a coffee machine, a fridge, and ample storage. Daily cleaning and a nightly turn-down service were so great.

The air conditioning did not seem fully adjustable. I found it only a minor irritation. Open-plan bathrooms may take some getting used to.
