Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Les Monges Palace Boutique is ideally located near the beach and local restaurants, making it easy to walk to Alicante's attractions, including the castle. Many guests appreciate the modern touches within the traditional building and the rooms equipped with air conditioning and tea/coffee facilities, while room 200 stands out for its size and four-poster bed. Some guests have noted that certain rooms, as well as the bathroom, can be quite small. The rooftop terrace with great views, sometimes hosting a bar, offers a peaceful retreat where you can hear the church bells chime.

Central Location and Helpful Staff

helpful staffclean roomrooftop terracetiny room
The staff was friendly and helpful . My room was super clean and cozy. I loved the rooftop terrace. It provided lovely views and plenty of places to eat in the square right opposite the hotel. BREAKFAST was very nice also.
The room we were given was tiny. The floor space was taken up almost entirely by the bed. Although we booked a double room months ago, they agreed it was only really suitable for a single when we asked for a larger room. The ensuite facilities were totally inadequate. The washbasin was separate and in the room.
Location
10/10
This hotel is situated right in the city center. The beach is easily accessible from the bus stop, with numerous bars and restaurants nearby. From the hotel, a short walk to the right leads to a charming square where you can find LA FABRICA for Tapas.
Service
9/10
The young man at reception was AMAZING, and remembered me from my last visit. He was polite and helpful, even arranging a bit of extra check-out time. Staff members are fluent in multiple languages, ensuring clear communication.
Facilities
8/10
The rooftop bar offers views over the city and starts serving at 6 PM with reasonable prices. I loved that you can buy drinks from the bar downstairs and bring them to the roof if the rooftop bar is closed. There is air conditioning in the room.

Reasonable stay overall

helpful staffrooftop terracenoise isolationluggage control
the location of the hotel was good , close to restaurants. the staff were friendly and helpful, something i appreciated. the rooftop terrace was a nice bonus. it had pleasant views.
the noise isolation was poor , i heard everything. conversations and water pipes were audible. there was no control over the luggage storage area, anyone could enter. also , there was no arrival queue at check-in , it was disorganized.
