a mixed bag, some positives, some definite negatives

central locationmouldy groutsubstandard soundproofing
the location was indeed very central, made getting around relatively easy.
I found the room showing its age. The air conditioning struggled to keep up, proving noisy and ineffective throughout the night. the bathroom wasn't much better. I noticed mould in the grout and on the wall tiles, impacting my overall impression of cleanliness. additionally, the noise from the street was relentless, especially since the soundproofing was substandard.

the hotel location worked good. we could get to everything we wanted on foot. there were many restaurants close, mainly asian food. the kitchen did worked good for quiet meals. it was really quiet at night even on a busy street. the windows were insulated good, and the curtains made the room dark for sleeping.
i wasn't told the pool was closed when i checked in so i could not cancel. they gave me a pool at a different hotel fifteen minutes away. this isn't good with kids.
