The Thai colonial design created a beautiful resort ambiance. I found the swimming pool to be a great amenity, and access to the beach was very convenient. The café near the pool offered delicious Thai food and refreshing drinks.
The outdated TV and worn linen did not feel luxurious.

The hotel is near both Cicada and Tamarind Markets. Rak Talay restaurant provides beachfront dining experiences with excellent food and amazing sea views. I appreciated the proximity to various attractions.

great breakfastout-dated bedroommusky smell
the breakfast had plenty of choice and space so i found something i liked.
the bedrooms seemed dreadful to me as they were out-dated with wallpaper falling off the walls plus our first room had a musky damp smell and cobwebs on the ceiling so they moved us but the second room was still out-dated and i cannot see how this is a 5 star hotel the bathrooms seemed very old.

The room was large. I had a nice balcony with a garden view. breakfast was fabulous with many options, even vegan choices. the staff was helpful throughout my stay. i felt well taken care of.
The pool visibility was poor. It made lap swimming difficult and unsafe.
