underwhelming stay despite nice location
unhappy staff limited breakfast
the location was quite central, which allowed easy access to the town and beach.
The service fell short of expectations for the price. the staff seemed generally unhappy, a stark contrast to typical thai hospitality. the breakfast buffet lacked variety and the food quality didn't match the hotel's supposed standard. The thai options were particularly limited and repetitive.

excellent stay with great service
spacious grounds central location friendly staff
i found the grounds quite spacious and organized. the hotel location is central and quiet, a combination i very much appreciated. all the staff were friendly and helpful, showing great attention to detail. the hotel ambience had very pretty xmas decorations.
i noticed that the pool could have been cleaner. i think improvements in this area would greatly enhance the guest experience. i expected a higher level of cleanliness.

I stayed in a beautiful twin room for three nights and found it quite comfortable. The breakfast had many options. i liked the location. It was close to shops and restaurants. THE gardens were beautiful.

I stayed in a beautiful king room. The location is GREAT. It is a short walk to shops and restaurants. I found the staff to be professional. The service throughout the stay impressed me greatly.
The television reception sometimes cut out. It was a very slight problem.

old room dirty pool
the breakfast was excellent with many options.
Our room felt old and somewhat dark. the pool could have been cleaner. This was noticeable. i wish there were some improvements made.

fantastic stay
amazing grounds ample loungers excellent breakfast
i found the grounds amazing with numerous topiary. the swimming pools looked nice and had ample loungers with umbrellas. the breakfast was excellent at the railway restaurant and i ate two other meals there in the evening. the chef and staff deserve compliments for their work.
the gym's equipment could use a small upgrade to match the quality of the rest of the facilities.

the hotel has two large pool areas. these areas are well kept and provide a great place to relax. the gym has modern equipment for a complete workout, and the gardens are very beautiful.

the staff was always friendly and professional. the cleaning ladies maintain high cleanliness standards, preparing rooms in the evening. the housekeeping service happens twice daily, and requests get prompt attention from the staff.

the railway restaurant offers plenty of breakfast options. the coast restaurant serves excellent dishes with beautiful presentations. hagi restaurant offers japanese cuisine, and the museum restaurant provides a unique dining experience with quality food.

Acceptable Stay. Some Issues Observed
rude security unacceptable behavior
The security personnel acted rudely. I would avoid returning because of this issue! The staff was barking louder at customers than the stray dogs. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in a hotel. The hotel should properly train their staff.
