The staff made my mum's 80th birthday perfect. They couldn't have done more. all six rooms were spotlessly clean and comfy. the food was great, and it's a very dog friendly place. my room even had a patio, perfect for the dog, and there is a dog cleaning station too!
i think the price was a tad steep for the room i got.

The classic double room had a super comfy bed and a nice shower. It was immaculate. toiletries were included. i found the room to be cozy and well-kept.

I had breakfast prepared early, and it was fantastic. I was very impressed!!! the breakfast choice had good variety. the food was AMAZING!!! it was freshly cooked and served promptly.

the food tasted great. the bar area was nice. there was lots of parking around the hotel. i liked the friendly atmosphere.
the carpets in communal areas needs cleaning. i notice they don't do tinned tomatoes for breakfast. i only got bottled water on the first night.

the location seemed perfect for exploring the area.
the room felt quite small and the bed seemed too short for two people. early check-in was not possible, the receptionist answered 'no'. storing two mountain bikes in a small shed cost an additional fee, this was really expensive.
