i chose this hotel based on its reputation and proximity to the beach. the location is excellent, offering direct access to the coastline. i found free parking very convenient (a real bonus!). reception helped my husband with a changing room after his walk.
My visit to the spa wasn't the best. The space felt overcrowded, and the sauna wasn't working well.

The family room included comfortable beds and ample space for luggage. the room was clean. It had functioning equipment. a great breakfast also was available.

The staff members are polite and friendly, ensuring a cute atmosphere. barbara's service stood out particularly. She showed great attention to detail and provided recommendations. sam and her team also ensured an event ran like clockwork.

The bar service was perplexing. I saw a sign that said 'Table Service' on the patio, so I sat myself down. Fifteen minutes passed, and no one came. Turns out, you must walk inside, interrupting diners, only to be told patio service isn't a thing anymore. The barman's attitude was less than stellar, blaming management for the misleading sign, instead of removing it.

the location was fantastic (it is right on the beach). the breakfast had a lot of choice and the food was great, especially the cooked options.
i found that the bar staff were quite slow. i also noticed they were often inattentive to customers waiting outside for service.

Dogs are welcome in most bedrooms and communal areas, but they are not allowed in the Cafe Bar and Brasserie on the Beach. There is no charge for bringing your dog, but you may need to use room service for breakfast as dogs cannot join you in the Brasserie.
