the staff were helpful, especially during check-in. i received excellent assistance with directions to nearby attractions. the room's location was perfect, right across from the beach. plus, it was a short walk to the pier.
The sash windows need an upgrade. Noise from the street was difficult. i recommend double-glazed sash units for quieter nights. this impacted my sleep quality a bit.

the location was wonderful. it was right across from the beach and the seaside walkway. the hotel was about ten minutes from the pier and fifteen minutes walk from the main restaurant area. it made it easy to enjoy local attractions.
i booked a room with a bath, but it was like it knocked space out of the room. a neat settee to sit on would have been better. the ensuite setup felt silly with a wet room. it rained on the toilet, basin tops, toilet paper, and towels.
