the check-in process was smooth and the front desk staff, like carolina and carlos, showed really good kindness. i even received a little upgrade, granting me access to a charming balcony. a coffeemaker also stood ready for my use, i found.
upon arrival, i discovered there was not a pool. i had anticipated relaxing by a rooftop pool, but it wasn't there. the advertisement showed a large window, yet my room contained a small window, set high and hard to reach.

my room request was not handled well. i booked a double room for a honeymoon and requested a proper double bed but received two singles pushed together. this affected the quality of our stay and i was told it was 'subject to availability'. the hotel restaurant was closed one evening due to a private event, and this was not communicated in advance.
