A fine stay indeed

friendly staffbreakfast selectionexcellent qualityavailable parking
The staff displayed friendliness, always ready to assist with any request i had. The breakfast offered a standard cooked selection alongside an a la carte menu. Dinner and breakfast both impressed me with their excellent quality, i found no fault in either. Parking was available, though not always directly next to the hotel.
The hot water tap in the bathroom provided a VERY meager dribble. I thought it was quite expensive for the standard of accommodation.

mixed experience at this Inn

noisy ice machinesmall bathroom
i was not impressed with a few things. our room was right by the ice machine, so it was noisy at night. i found it hard to sleep well because of this sound. also, the bathroom was quite small. there was barely any counter space, and i struggled to keep my toiletries organized. the shower pressure was also very low, made showering a slow task (it was a bit frustrating).

the room was spacious and clean. i especially liked the complimentary access to carbis bay spa. we booked it after arrival and went the morning we checked out. the breakfast was high quality and delicious and the coffee was great.
The room i initially booked was small with no space for belongings. we were moved to another room with no view. The windows were frosted. there was a confusing claw foot tub and shower combination with no instructions on how to turn on the faucets.

staff seemed alright i suppose, at least they did bring the requested milk.
the gannet house is a joke. it seemed like staying above a rowdy pub. plus, no fridge in the room, i had to ring up for milk every time, like some kind of pauper. the breakfast was also an absolute letdown for anyone who dislikes english breakfast.
