The Headlands, a 3-star family-run hotel on Blackpool's New South Promenade, offers 40 en-suite rooms with sea or park views, tea and coffee facilities, and free WiFi. Guests can relax in spacious ground-floor lounges, including a bar, games room with a pool table and PlayStation consoles, and a sun lounge. The oak-panelled dining room serves home-cooked meals, with a 3-course evening menu available for £10 per person during the season. Located in South Shore, the hotel is a 5-minute walk from Pleasure Beach, Sandcastle Waterpark, and South Pier, while Blackpool's trams and buses provide access to other attractions like Ripley's Believe It Or Not and The Big One. Safety features include fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, and window guards.

the check-in was easy, with a friendly lady.
first impression was the hotel looked more dated than it did on the photos. the wallpaper was peeling off. the en-suite needed a good clean, dusty with dead spiders on the floor by the skirting boards.

Dated Decor detracts from potential

good choice breakfast choice peeling wallpaper old carpets
The breakfast had a good choice of cereals and juices.
The room felt quite dated! Wallpaper was peeling off, and the carpets looked old. It just wasn't quite the standard I expected.
