The Langford Hotel offers spacious rooms, and several guests have enjoyed sea views from their rooms. Its location is convenient, with the beach just a short walk away and close to shops and restaurants; Ouef cafe is practically next door. While some guests have noted that the hotel appears a bit old and would benefit from refurbishment, many appreciate the value for money, particularly for a short stay. Plus, the hotel offers parking at a reasonable price.

basic room does the job

good layoutclear phone receptionmany light optionsdifficult door
the room had a good layout. i thought the phone reception was clear. there were many light options in the room. i found the room to stay cool during the night.
i thought the door was difficult to lock. it seemed the door did not fit the doorway very well. it took a couple tries to get the lock to hold so i could put the snib down.

this hotel features doors that remain open twenty-four hours a day. the reception area also has twenty-four hour staffing. parking near the hotel was easy enough to sort out. it has a good location near the beach.

a comforting haven by the coast

prime locationhelpful staffwindow mold
the location allowed quick trips to nearby spots (ideal for exploring). the staff readily helped carry bags and allowed for a late checkout. i appreciated the kind service.
i found the room to need some updates, especially as i noticed peeling wood and mold on the windows. it created a slight disturbance.

Solid Value, Great Location

spacious roomconvenient locationavailable parking
The room was spacious and clean, equipped with basic amenities. I found the location convenient for accessing nearby attractions. Parking outside was available, though a permit from reception cost fifteen pounds. New owners are working to improve the building.
The steep stairs proved a bit challenging. This might not suit families or those with mobility issues.
Rooms
9/10
The room had comfortable beds, clean white bedding, and towels. It featured a balcony overlooking the street. I had a good bath each evening, thanks to plenty of hot water.
Location
8/10
The hotel sits on a quiet street. Shops are a short walk away. Buses run frequently down the road, approximately every twenty minutes. The beach is also easily accessible.
Service
10/10
The staff assisted with parking. They accommodated all requests. I received very helpful service from them. The manager tried hard to accommodate my needs.

The hotel is in a great location near local shops. The staff was helpful with parking, I found this very convenient. My room was spacious, and I appreciated the early access.
The public restroom lacked lighting, I had to use my phone. The receptionist was unwelcoming, I think a friendly greeting is important. The hallway had a strong smell, I found this unpleasant.
