About the Hotel
Surrounding Area
Overlooking the Ionian Sea and Calabrian coast, Splendid Hotel Taormina offers a summer outdoor pool, shiatsu treatments, and a location a 3-minute walk from Corso Umberto's main street. Housed in a former monastery, rooms at Splendid Hotel Taormina retained simplicity and functionality; most provide panoramic sea or pool views and include free WiFi, a TV, and en suite bathrooms. Lifts lead to the 3rd-floor pool area and the extensive roof-terrace overlooking two regions and the Mediterranean. Indoors, the piano bar serves drinks with live easy-listening music, while the 5th-floor Kairos restaurant offers steaks with views over the bay. Popular nearby attractions include the Greek Theatre with views of Mount Etna and the 13th-century Duomo Cathedral. A high-quality breakfast buffet is available each morning at Splendid Hotel Taormina. The hotel provides family rooms, babysitting services, and kids' meals, along with a 24-hour front desk, concierge, and tour desk. Private parking is available upon request, and shuttle services to Isola Bella beach can be arranged.
