a balanced stay
blackout curtains gym equipment basic room dirty walls
The hotel offered blackout curtains in the room. I appreciated this feature. The gym included useful equipment. I found a good selection of machines there.
The room felt quite basic for a four-star hotel. There was very little furniture besides a squeaky bed. The walls showed dirt and needed a new coat of paint. The bathroom was also very basic with only all-in-one shampoo and gel.

convenient location metro station coffee shops helpful staff poor room insulation jacuzzi service unavailable prior information
the location is convenient, with a metro station nearby. i found two coffee shops next door (which was nice). the staff was helpful .
the room seemed poorly insulated. i could hear everything (even the conversations in the hallway). the jacuzzi was out of service, disappointing. i wasn't told about this beforehand.

The staff were supportive with directions. I appreciated the good gym. I also enjoyed the breakfast , it had a good selection of food.
The elevator was slow , I had to wait longer than expected.

the location was good , close to transportation and some attractions.
the room felt rather basic for a supposed four-star hotel , and its lack of character was noticeable. the bathroom especially was quite plain.

helpful staff public transport convenient location
i appreciated the helpful staff at the reception. they provided excellent tips for using public transport. the location was very convenient , with a bus stop and metro nearby.

average experience with some issues
warm minibar poor soundproofing
The minibar was warm upon arrival. it didn't cool down drinks properly during my entire stay. i also found the soundproofing quite poor. Street noise was noticeable even with the windows closed. this made it difficult to relax in the evenings.
