The staff was friendly. breakfast was included, and it was prepared fresh (i loved that!). i also appreciated that the bus stop to the seven sisters was right across the street, very convenient.
The stairs to the room were a bit challenging. It's something to consider if you have heavy luggage.

the full english breakfast was quite acceptable, a solid start to the day.
The room was above a pub. the noise from downstairs persisted late into the evening, impacting sleep quality. furthermore, the bathroom was dated. The shower's water pressure was weak. these issues detracted from an otherwise decent stay, we loved the pool, but the view was amazing!

the staff were personable and really helpful! the food tasted great too. i really enjoyed the tour that showed the pub's very interesting background, it was available and the bar had a lot of drinks
the stairs to get to my room were a challenge. unfortunately, the toilet had a sanitary box and it smelled, it was not good for a hotel bathroom.

The location proved convenient, close to the park. Public transport access was also nearby. The staff showed readiness to address inquiries promptly. A tour of the medieval crypt became available upon request. It had been part of a monastery associated with the adjacent church.
Stairs to the room are hard to climb.
