the staff provided a wheelchair when they noticed my aunt had trouble walking. the location was convenient. the mattresses were comfortable and the room had everything i needed. the gym was great, and the breakfast buffet had a large selection and variety.
the pool seemed to need a bit more cleaning, it wasn't terrible but could be better.

The location provided easy access to shops and the beach. I can't fault that.
The smell was so strong, i swear they were trying to cover something up. getting to the hotel was a bit of a trek. you have to walk through a bowling alley. I thought i was in the wrong place.

the hotel is placed directly on the walk. i loved the quick beach access. my room got cleaned daily and always felt very fresh. breakfast at gastro had many options and daily variations, great. staff was always attentive.
the bathroom amenities provided didn't quite match the number of guests booked for the room. it's not a big deal, though.

Inconsistent Service and Room Issues

The room had a noticeable carpet odor. It was unpleasant. Room service response times were quite slow! despite placing the instruction card for cleaning the room on the door, cleaning was inconsistent. The location was at the far end of JBR. This meant longer walks.

the staff were very friendly at the pool and bar area. yogesh especially was great at his job and always made sure i had everything i needed.
i booked two rooms and the second room had a double bed. the hotel knew i had three children including a 13 year old girl and a 12 year old boy. i had to sleep with my daughter and my partner slept with my son. i was told i had to pay extra for two separate beds.

I found the location convenient. Restaurants and shops are very close. It made it easy to find places to eat. I also liked that the rooms were cleaned daily. The service was efficient. The grounds are clean. I could access water sports easily.
The hotel entrance was odd. You have to walk down a narrow corridor past a bowling alley. The rooms seemed dated. Especially the kitchen in my suite looked old. I noticed an artificial smell in the reception areas. I found it off-putting.
