The location is very central. it is close to everything, but remains quiet. reception staff were helpful. I felt at home. breakfast offered a simple, yet nice start to each day.
I noticed the tourist tax was paid in cash. This was unexpected.

The staff booked restaurant tables prior to our holiday. This was very efficient. the rear door allowed entry from a water taxi. the location is close to basilica san marco and vaporetto water bus stops.
the room furnishings seemed a bit old.

breakfast had an excellent continental selection. the waiting staff were immaculately presented. i found the quality of food commendable. the silver coffee jugs were a nice touch, however, you may prefer a fresh coffee.

Reception staff were very courteous. a porter took my bags directly to my room. the porter explained the mini bar features. The prosecco was a nice touch. staff were friendly and helpful making for a great visit.
