the hosts were friendly and helpful, even offering tips for local restaurants. my room had a small fridge (very convenient) for storing drinks and snacks. breakfast included tasty options like a full english and the al'ula arabian style breakfast. the lounge features unique decor and history books about the area.
the room was smaller than i expected and did not include bedside cabinets, which i found inconvenient. i missed having lamps available near the bed.

i liked the lounge on the first floor. it provided a great view of the sea. i brought my own drinks to enjoy there. the owners held onto my luggage after i checked out until my train arrived.
breakfast had a long wait time even with few guests in the hotel.
