The location was great. Staff were helpful throughout my visit. My room had a good size, very easy to reach. I liked there was a well-stocked tea tray. an iron in the room. Good parking was available.
The room looked tired, with a bit of peeling wallpaper. It was still clean, although the decor looked old.

a satisfactory stay
warm water spacious room comfy bed creaky floorboards dated decor cheap coffee
the pool was a real highlight. the water was lovely and warm. i enjoyed the clean, spacious room and the comfy bed.
the floorboards creaked terribly i could not avoid making noise. the decor seemed quite dated throughout the hotel. the coffee provided in the room tasted cheap so i could not drink it.

The staff were attentive and efficient. The breakfast offered a varied and high-quality selection. I found the room to be spacious and well-appointed. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring restful sleep.
The television in the room was an older model. It lacked modern smart TV capabilities.

perfect location friendly staff victorian architecture
the hotel location was perfect near shops and a park. the staff was helpful and friendly . the victorian architecture added charm. the swimming pool provided good relaxation.

The location allowed me to walk to nearby shops.
