a wonderfully unique stay

helpful staff tidy room restful stay

the staff were helpful especially with travel tips. the room was very tidy i thought. the hotel felt different from other places i have visited. we got a bit of a lay-in .

the room did smell a bit musty overall though.

the hotel features a mediterranean decor and the premises reminded me of stepping back into a bygone era. the paintings and antiques added an interesting aesthetic element creating a refreshing departure from typical modern hotels i thought.

i got a snug room that had a boutique feel overall. my room had hand painted murals on the wall and ceiling with a gorgeous bed. each room seemed to have its own unique style i have noticed overall.

the location proved advantageous, particularly because paddington station was easily accessible. the staff were helpful upon my arrival, a detail i appreciated. the décor presented a distinct 'olde worlde' aesthetic, a charming alternative to modern styles.

My room had some drawbacks. The shower room was quite small, which limited movement. obtaining sufficient tea, milk, or sugar required multiple trips downstairs, inconvenient after showering.

I appreciated the unique themed rooms. the reception staff were quite helpful. They provided travel advice. i was allowed a slightly later checkout time. this.

the single pane glass in the room let in a lot of cold air, even with the heating on, it was not very comfortable

damaged sink missing plug

the location was suitable for my needs the staff were helpful.

the single room i was given had a separate bathroom it was down a flight of stairs this was inconvenient i also noticed the sink in the bedroom was damaged and without a plug.
