The Royal Eagle Hotel enjoys a superb location, just a short walk from Paddington Station, providing convenient access to the tube and Heathrow via the Elizabeth Line, with Lancaster Gate also nearby. Guests appreciate the proximity to Hyde Park and Kensington Park, as well as Oxford Street for those who enjoy a longer walk. The rooms are generally clean, some offering views up Paddington Street, and luggage storage is available (sometimes for a fee). Some guests have mentioned that the walls can be a bit thin, allowing some noise to travel.

Excellent Stay Near Paddington

convenient locationcomfortable bedefficient servicefresh towels
The location proved convenient, especially due to its proximity to the train station. My room included a very comfortable bed. The reception staff offered friendly and efficient service. Daily room service kept everything super clean with fresh towels.
I noticed slight wear on the room's decor, specifically some scuffs on the walls. This did not detract from my overall stay, but updating these areas would be beneficial.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel provides complimentary Wi-Fi access throughout the building, enabling continuous connectivity (I found this quite useful).
Dining
8/10
A breakfast buffet offered a decent selection of items each morning. The dining area included ample seating, which prevented crowding during peak hours. Coffee and tea were available throughout the day.

The location is unbeatable and I'm grateful for that! The breakfast had a good variety of options and I always found something I liked.
The room felt quite dated, and some of the furniture looked worn. I noticed some stains in the bathroom, and this wasn't ideal.
