serene getaway
private access white sands
I loved the private beach access. The white sands were pristine. there was plenty of greenery with beautiful baobab trees on the grounds. the in-house restaurant offered delicious food. i found it was a relaxing vacation spot.

The in-house restaurant offers varied international cuisines. I enjoyed the options. breakfast was good, though every second day, the items repeated. prices at nearby restaurants were good with quality food. They are a short walk on the beach.

The hotel has a private beach. Swimming is always possible. the pool area is clean. there is a lot of greenery and also baobab trees. the grounds are carefully kept and well maintained.

The location provides sunset views. I did not use any filter for pictures. it is a quiet area, and the hotel feels safe. the hotel is close to shops and restaurants. it is a good spot, despite being far from stone town.

the staff were friendly and always willing to help with requests. some animation and music occur near the pool. security does a great job of keeping unwanted beach vendors away. they always tried to help with a smile.

The resort advertised an all-inclusive package, which I purchased. I found out on arrival there were actually two tiers, premium and standard. This meant services differed based on the level. A companion's room initially lacked air conditioning and had minimal lighting. no compensation occurred.

underwhelming stay
inconsistent service bland food
the beach location was acceptable. it allowed for easy access to the ocean.
The food was not great.. the buffet options lacked flavor. i also found the service to be inconsistent. Some staff were friendly, others seemed indifferent. this impacted the overall experience, as i hoped for more attentiveness.
