charmed find at diamond beach
maintained equipment lovely welcome
the gym had well maintained equipment. the welcome on arrival was so lovely. the family room was spacious and cleaned well everyday. the staff made sure we had loungers and were very friendly.
check-in took ages. this wasnt ideal after long day traveling. it made me angry because i had to wait with very tired young children.

the beach area is clean. there was enough space. the hotel offers access to a coral reef. it is amazing to have this feature.

the choice at the restaurant is super for all meals. a la carte options were delicious. the mongolian barbeque was delicious. the waiting staff helped to make sure we had a good seat.

the reception team was friendly. the house keeping teams was friendly. all the teams were attentive. the staff constantly moved around the area. they discreetly tidied areas and ensured that these were re-laid.

the pools are heated. i used the splash pool. the aquapark has nice facilities for different ages of children. there was insta worthy snaps in the infinity pool. i used the gym. it has well maintained equipment.

aggressive tipping persistent cleaner
I found the tipping culture quite aggressive. Everyone expected a tip for every small service. our room cleaner was particularly persistent, checking in on us constantly, which became intrusive. it was like the entire holiday revolved around extracting tips, which detracted from the relaxation i expected. this forcefulness made me hesitant to return. i disliked this tipping pressure, intrusive room cleaner

polite staff sparkling wine kind gesture
I found the staff lovely and polite. i was immediately offered a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival. shady at the posh club brought me coffee every morning without me even asking. It was a kind gesture. i also visited all the restaurants and the service with food seemed amazing.
the wi-fi was inconsistent? it was difficult to stream videos at times.

mixed feelings about the stay
slow check-in broken phone
the check-in process was slow. it took a very long time to get to my room. the phone in my room was also broken (i could not call reception). i wanted to order room service, but i couldn't call to do so. the staff didn't seem particularly concerned about this issue.

Excellent Hotel Stay
pleasant atmosphere proactive help
The hotel maintains its premises meticulously and I found this aspect very appreciable. The staff showed respect and provided assistance throughout my stay. I thoroughly enjoyed the pristine condition of both the beach and the swimming pools. I was particularly impressed by the proactive help offered by staff members at every turn.
The gym equipment lacked maintenance, and I found this quite unfortunate. One of the treadmills displayed an error message frequently. The cable machine had frayed cables. Repairing these issues would greatly enhance the facility.

My room had two separate sinks and a rainfall shower. The room contained a king size bed and a minibar stocked daily with water and soft drinks. The air conditioning system worked efficiently throughout the stay.

The main pool area included twenty loungers and a shaded section. The on-site gym had three treadmills and two stationary bikes. Guests could access a private beach area that featured a jetty for snorkeling. The lobby offered complimentary Wi-Fi access.
