Acceptable Stay with Some Issues

The location directly on Cenang Beach was convenient (especially for beach access).

I was not happy to discover that my card was charged before I even arrived. I think it is unfair because hotels usually ask about using the same card or a different one. Getting charged beforehand felt presumptuous.

murky waterintrusive staff

The jet skis were annoying. The water was murky because of them. green searchlights lit up the horizon at night, this ruined the ambiance. the food wasn't the best either. one dinner was cold, i was not charged for it but it was not enjoyable. the staff seemed too critical when i left the 'do not disturb' sign on, it felt intrusive.

The location is superb, right on cenang beach. I found ample beach loungers and umbrellas available. the staff is very friendly and accommodating too. breakfast included a lot of variety. The chef even made fresh fruit sorbet one night. It was a real treat!

the hotel exterior looks a little dated. the initial impression wasn't amazing though, once inside, the friendly atmosphere made up for it
