Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Guests consistently praise the wonderful location, finding it a short distance from the train and bus stations and even closer to the beach. The spacious Standard Single rooms with sea views and ample storage are a highlight for many, as is the offstreet parking. Some guests have noted that the hotel could benefit from some refurbishment; however, the breakfast stands out, with a wide range of choices and options tailored to individual preferences, sometimes even offered early with a takeaway pack for those catching an early ferry.

The radiator did NOT work in my room, annoying. The bath surface seemed like sandpaper and left me with some crazy red marks. Breakfast was blah. Definitely nothing to write home about. I expected MORE for the price i paid.

The owners provided helpful advice on local attractions, which I appreciated. I also enjoyed the fluffy towels in my room and the lovely beach view from the window. I found the bed really comfortable during my four-night stay and liked the pretty decor of the room.
The hotel had some steps at the front and back, which could make it difficult with mobility issues to navigate the hotel easily.
