i stayed for three nights, and the location stands out. it was near the parks and piccadilly. the staff displayed genuine warmth. i found the complimentary treats in my room a thoughtful touch. the hotel boasts traditional decor and elegant bedrooms, very clean.
i thought the absence of a proper lounge near reception was noticeable. there were only a few chairs, these were for people waiting. it lacked the cute touches i anticipate from a smaller, upscale hotel.

The location was quite good. Near the parks. the hotel offered a nice british restaurant downstairs.
My room faced st james street, and the traffic noise at night made it difficult to sleep. the air conditioning was so loud. I switched it off. i expected better soundproofing.

the hotel is a peaceful retreat near buckingham palace. the staff displayed really good attentiveness throughout our stay. a highlight was the picnic setup they arranged in a nearby park complete with romantic details. i would return just for the thoughtful service.
Access to the bar wasn't guaranteed for hotel guests. I needed to wait like other visitors.
