a haven of culinary delight
estuary views attentive staff quality hairdryer peaceful walk
the VIEWS are amazing. i could SEE the estuary unfold before me. the staff were attentive, and they were ready to assist with a genuine smile. my room included high-quality hairdryer and straighteners, which i found useful. i especially enjoyed the vineyard, a great place for a peaceful walk.
i found that a minor inconvenience with lighting in bathroom existed, made makeup a little tricky at times.

the beautiful king room i stayed in included two separate sinks and a rainfall shower. quality toiletries were present in abundance. overall the room was well appointed.

lovely location amazing lunch attentive staff power cut lacking plan poor service
The location was quite lovely. The lunch I had was amazing. Staff were attentive, and the new pool area with bistro was a fabulous area to relax.
There was a power cut. It took 9 hours to restore the power. The hotel lacked a disaster recovery plan. The service was below par in both restaurants and bars.

Sublime Elegance and Romantic Charm
fine art display great staff
The woodland walks displayed fine art. The coastal paths allowed easy access. I especially enjoyed eating in the Pool Bar. The staff was great too!!!

staff service delivery great accommodation room detail dining experience bright lighting separate mattress
the staff's service delivery is really good i feel. their approachability makes me want to stay here forever. accommodation is great and a value for money for all guests. attention to each detail in each room is appreciated i feel.
our first visit felt several years ago. there were many shortcomings with dining experiences. the lighting in the bathroom over the mirror isnt very bright. the bed consisted of two separate mattresses on one base.

Mixed Experience. Service Needs Improvement
subpar plumbing inconsistent housekeeping
The plumbing was subpar. The toilet needed multiple flushes. Housekeeping was inconsistent. Towels weren't always replaced despite being left on the floor. I had to seek out staff for drinks in the lounge bar. It felt understaffed. Service felt far from 5-star, especially considering the prices.

the building restoration shows attention to detail. the grounds include well-kept sculptures. the brasserie near the pool offered a relaxed dining alternative.
the room lighting over the bathroom mirror was dim.
